Welcome to the Modena Expats website.

Here, you can find heaps of information about things to do, where to eat, and where to play in and around Modena. Also, you can share your experiences and update the website with any useful information you come across during your stay in Modena. Whether you're a parent looking for after school activities, a new mum looking for a paediatrician who speaks English, or a single person looking for a place to go for a night out.....you should be able to find the information here.

Anyone can edit and update the site with new information at anytime, please feel free to keep the website up and running with your regular updates. Try, where possible, to keep the format similar to the one I've started just to keep it looking neat and tidy! Share the web address with your friends so they can add to it also.

If you have any questions then please contact me by sending me a message to this site.

klz325403 Food in USA vs Italy 7 Nov 29 2011, 4:41 AM EST by Anonymous
Thread started: Aug 18 2011, 3:50 PM EDT  Watch
Hello,
My family will be moving to Modena in January 2012. We will be re-locating for my husbands job and my children are ages 1 and 3. We have been informed of several items sold in the USA that are not available in Italy: pancake mix, peanut butter, maple syrup just to name a few. Can anyone please recommend a list of must-have food items that are typically found in the US but not in Italy?
